Mayor’s Black-Tie Dinner and 80’s disco raised over £2,500 for Midlands Air Ambulance and Working Together Ludlow
On Saturday, November 9th, the Mayor of Ludlow, Councillor Beverley Waite, hosted a successful Black-Tie Dinner at The Feathers Hotel in Ludlow. The event raised over £1,500.00 for Midlands Air Ambulance and Working Together Ludlow.
Local councillors, Mayors, and guests bid on auction prizes generously donated by local businesses, including a prize package from Ludlow Races, a meal for two at The Angel, an aeroplane flight around South Shropshire and a tour of Ludlow Distillery. Guests enjoyed an excellent meal provided by The Feathers Hotel, with wine graciously donated by Bentleys Wine.
During a very busy and fun-filled week, Beverley also hosted an 80’s Night at Ludlow Brewery, which raised an impressive £1,000 for her chosen charities.
Mayor of Ludlow, Councillor Beverley Waite expressed her gratitude to all who supported the event, "The generosity and support from our community never cease to amaze me. I am deeply grateful to everyone who made both evenings such a success.”
