Ludlow Town Council Secures £15,000 Shaping Places Grant to Tackle Food Poverty
A partnership between Ludlow Town Council, Hands Together Ludlow, Ludlow Foyer, and Ludlow Food Bank has successfully secured a £15,000 grant from the Shaping Places initiative. This collaborative effort aims to reduce food poverty in Ludlow by combining local resources and expertise to create a lasting impact in the community.
"We are delighted to receive this grant, which will allow us to make a tangible impact in reducing food poverty in Ludlow," said Mayor of Ludlow, Councillor Beverley Waite. "By partnering with Hands Together Ludlow, Ludlow Foyer, and Ludlow Food Bank, and leveraging the expertise of health practitioners, we aim to create a sustainable impact that addresses the issue of food poverty in Ludlow."
The project will focus on fostering collaboration among local organisations, utilising the expertise of health practitioners to promote better nutrition and overall well-being in the community. Through strategic planning and community engagement, the group aims to ensure that this initiative makes a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by food poverty.
