Summer in Ludlow
Fun-filled Summer Events for Children in Ludlow
Ludlow Town Council is pleased to announce a series of summer activities for children in Ludlow.
Bugs Life Trail at Ludlow Market
Join us for a Bug Trail adventure at Ludlow Market, taking place during our regular Wednesday and Friday markets. Children will have the opportunity to explore the market, searching for hidden bugs and participating in fun-filled activities. As part of the Bug Trail, children will also be encouraged to take part in the Butterfly Count, an important initiative to help monitor and conserve local butterfly populations.
The Bug Trail will be held on the following dates: Wednesday 21st, Friday 23rd, Wednesday 28th, and Friday 30th of August, from 11am to 2pm. This event is free of charge and promises a memorable day out for families.
Mouse Trap Trail at Ludlow Museum
Embark on Ludlow’s Mouse Trap Trail at Ludlow Museum, located in the historic Buttercross. Children will be challenged to uncover the gangster mice that have taken over the museum. In addition to the trail, there will be a variety of craft activities available for children to enjoy, allowing them to create their own mouse-themed crafts to take home.
Ludlow Museum is open Friday - Sunday, including bank holiday Mondays, from 10am - 4pm. The Mouse Trap Trail will continue until Sunday 1st of September.
These summer events are a fantastic way for children to explore Ludlow, have fun outdoors, and learn about our local heritage.
